ULTCW is made up of many departments, each performing its own functions, but all working together to meet our commons goals as a union. They departments are:
ExecutiveLaphonza Butler, President The Executive branch of ULTCW provides leadership and direction for the union.

EducationDeborah Vargas, Director The Education department provides training and education for member development and activism. It provides skills for campaigns, organizing and working with labor management committees. It also teaches members how to share their skills with other members. |

Strategic PartnershipsFaith Culbreath, Director The Strategic Partnerships department is responsible for forming and maintaining community relationships. By partnering with various community organizations, it expands the voice and reach of our members. |

Member ServicesTom Csekey, Director The Member Services Department is responsible for coordinating a variety of activities that directly touch members’ lives. Those services include: The Health Trust; Labor Management Committees; The Homecare Exchange; the Member Action Center; and Member Benefits Services. |

Member StrengthRegions 1 & 4: Wendy Duchen The Member Strength department encourages members to take ownership in their union, while participating in activities related to improving the quality of their jobs and their communities. Such opportunities include representing workers in collective bargaining and grievances, being involved in politics and/or organizing the unorganized. |

OrganizingLysette Solis, Administrator The Organizing department helps non-union workers get a voice on the job and become a part of our union to fight for improved wages, benefits and working conditions. |

OperationsDereck Smith, Director The Operations Department is responsible for the overall, day-to-day functioning of the Union. The department’s functions include finance, information technology, human resources, administration, and facilities management. |

Public AffairsFor media/press inquiries please contact Wendy Carrillo at (213) 985-1694. The Public Affairs Dept is responsible for educating the public and our members on the mission and work of our union. It does that through media relations, translations, fliers, brochures, newsletters etc. |
