House Republicans will soon hold a vote to repeal President Obama’s healthcare law.
If they succeed, the following would likely happen:
- Insurance companies could drop your coverage if you get sick
- Prescription drug costs for seniors could skyrocket
- Nothing would be done about waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicare
- Coverage would not be extended to children under age 26
With millions of Americans struggling to find a job, pay their mortgages, and keep their healthcare coverage, Republicans have the wrong priorities.
We need a Congress focused on creating good jobs, not cutting benefits for seniors and working families.
